Our Mission
Led by world-renowned paleontologist Ricardo Araújo and supported by a team of international scientists, photographers, and adventurers, the expedition explores promising dig sites beyond the known fossil beds of uncharted territory. For the first time, the Northern Hemisphere, particularly Portugal, could reveal evidence of this rare epoch — rewriting what we know about dinosaur evolution.
Our mission:
- Discover new species of dinosaurs and prehistoric mammals
- Confirm the first evidence of the Carnian Pluvial Epoch in the Northern Hemisphere
- Document the expedition through the lens of our expert photographers
With boots on the ground and tools in the earth, Rodrigo, our in-field guide from Portugal, is leading us across rugged terrain and into ancient history. This could be one of the most significant paleontological discoveries of the decade.
